What do you think is the largest gap that is acceptable to the scrutinizing eyes of the public?
10 years? 6 years?

Who cares what the public think!!!!
I've dated a guy who is 9 years older than me but it seemed as if te age gap was only 3-4 years
but for me personally, anything above 10 years will make me go "whoa there, chill, dont be a daddy's girl!"

I care! Hahahahaha. Can't stand seeing 60 year olds marrying someone barely over 18.
Maybe 6 years is still cool for me. 10 years, I'd raise my eyebrows.

Oh of course. Hahahaha but those kase they want to be in America or Europe so bad. And theyre probably illiterate so marrying some rich guy outside of the country will improve their lives.
I have titas and titos who are ten years apart, but they dont even look like there's a huge age gap between them. but 15-20 years...The age gap kinda shows already hahahaha

10 would probably be the limit the society is acceptable of. But nowadays, an 40-60 sth older guy who is rich and has a lot of power marries a 18 y/o swimsuit model is not a surprise

100% gold digger.
I can't believe young girls who will go for guys who can barely get a hard on. -__-
It's the moneyyyy!!

Yes...when you're still young!! I agree that someone my age is foolish to believe that a teenager or someone in the 20's could really be in love with them. The age gap is just too much.
But what about my case...I married a great lady that is 23 years younger than me!

Do you think it's love?

Then it is love.
Abby is proof OF IT.

I think people would most likely raise their eyebrows upon seeing a couple whose age difference is quite obvious. Example, the guy looks uugod-ugod already and the girls looks like she just stepped out of highschool.

for some, it does. it is an issue. an insecurity. i think...

not rly. size matters.

Sometimes cougars who look surprisingly younger than their actual age have super cute teenage boyfriends and it looks okay at some point yanno. Same goes for the men. But even though it's cute and might even be called love, I don't think those kind of relationships will even last long.
Like, yes it might look hot, beautiful and all but then I always think, 'blegh, magbe-break din naman yan sheesh!' and eventually they always do.
So all in all, for me age doesn't matter. What matters is how you stay together for long despite the age differences.

Some people are into age gaps, DDLG (Daddy/Little girl). It is a fetish where the guy is older than the girl and sometimes the former is twice the age of the latter. The daddy feels the need to protect, nurture, love and even discipline his little girl while the LG has childlike qualities or mannerisms and looks up to his daddy as her mentor and lover since maturity often relates to wisdom and experience. Sometimes the daddy is viewed as a dirty old man because he showers his little girl with gifts but that is just one of the ways of spoiling his little girl. It is a nurturing relationship but sometimes it can also go out of hand especially since the daddy must have a dominant streak which may cause him to be violent sometimes (read: discipline). Anyway, the daddy has the need to assert his dominance and the little girl wants to be dominated. Win-win situation.

Personally I think it doesn't matter. Or I don't know, it depends on the situation. Sir bob married someone 23 years his junior, and they're happy. I know someone whose boyfriend is 24 years her senior, but were built on a love affair and she takes advantage of it.
I'm dating a girl who's 4 years older than me and we're doing great. Our age gap isn't a big deal anymore because it's barely noticeable we think alike and our maturity level matches so maybe it just depends on the mindsets of the two parties.
